P. Diddy is locked up, accused of a series of sex crimes. And now another one of the legends of hip hop has been accused of inappropriate sexual conduct in a civil suit. Jaz-Z.
The entertainment world was taken by surprise when one of the biggest stars in the world of hip hop was arrested and charged with a series of offenses including kidnapping, sex trafficking and rico. P. Diddy was first civilly sued then criminally charged in New York. He’s now locked up facing the potential of life behind bars. Meanwhile, the number of civil suits Diddy is facing continues to grow, but some of those cases include other unnamed celebrity defendants and now one of them has been named and he’s bigger than Diddy – Beyonce’s husband.
Jay-Z has been accused of committing the sexual assault of a minor with Diddy. Jay-Z has denied the allegations. But everyone is wondering, are there more accusers and will more celebrities be named? It’s the story and scandal that seems to be spiraling out of control with a listers accused of engaging in vile acts. It’s a story that could completely change the landscape of hip hop and the world of celebrity.
It’s a civil lawsuit that has been filed, no criminal allegations. Jay-Z’s response to this suit was posted on Rock Nation’s Facebook page.
“My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a “lawyer” named Tony Buzbee. It made me watch to expose you for the fraud. You are in a very public fashion. So no, I will not give you one red penny. You have made a terrible error in judgment thinking that all “celebrities” are the same. I’m not from your world. I’m a young man who made it out of the project of Brooklyn. We don’t play these type of games. We have very strict codes and honor. We protect children, you seem to exploit people for personal gain. Only your network of conspiracy theorists, fake psysics, will believe the idiotic claims you have levied against me that, if not for the seriousness surrounding harm to kids, would be laughable.
I look forward to showing you just how different I am.”
Allegations:
September 7, 2000 – VMA afterparty
Then 13-year-old Plaintiff was invited by a limousine driver, who said she “fit what Diddy was looking for”.
Recognized many celebrities at the party; observed marijuana and cocaine use.
Began to feel woozy and lightheaded after drinking some of a beverage given to her by a waitress.
Plaintiff entered an empty bedroom to lie down for a moment.
Room contained only a large bed, no other furniture.
Lawsuit allegations:
Soon after, Combs entered the room, along with defendant Carter (Jay-Z) and a female celebrity (“Celebrity B”). Plaintiff immediately recognized all three celebrities.
Combs aggressively approached Plaintiff with a crazed look in his eyes, grabbed her, and said, “You are ready to party!”
Combs then threw Plaintiff toward a wall, causing Plaintiff to fall. Plaintiff got up and stumbled, at which point Combs grabbed her again and threw her on the bed. At that point, Carter began removing Plaintiff’s clothes as she grew more and more disoriented.
Plaintiff was held down by Carter as he vaginally raped her, while Combs and Celebrity B watched.
After Carter finished, he stepped back toward the wall. Combs then stepped forward and vaginally raped Plaintiff while Carter and Celebrity B watched.
Reportedly, the alleged victim recognized inconsistency in her story, which Jay-Z took as an admission of false accusation.
